This is primarily for 'Old Jim' but everyone can use it for a basic bread recipe.

I use a standard bread mix which is...

1 1/2 cups of Water
3 tbsp Milk Powder
2 tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
3 tbsp of oil (I use the following... 1 tbsp Sesame Oil, 2 tbsp Olive Oil)
2 tsp Yeast
4 cups of bread flour (I use the following... 1 cup Malthouse bread flour, 1 cup Seed and Grain bread flour, 2 cups Wholemeal bread flour)
1/2 cup of Omega Mix (optional)
Finally 1 cup of spent grains but when adding the spent grains you need to either use dry grains or reduce the water content depending on how wet your spent grains are.

Also if you drain the liquid from your spent grains you can also use this instead of the water but reduce the sugar content of your mix as the sugars from the grains will increase the sugar content of your loaf and make it rise faster and further.

Simply put all the above in a bread machine and set it on the mix dough setting (if you don't have a bread mixer you'll have to do it by hand) then when it's finished you need to knock back the mix and form it into loaves them leave it to rise for another hour before putting it in a hot oven (200C / 400F) for 20 minutes or until nice and brown.
