That doesn't sound right or fair to either the buyer or the company, I hope this gets fixed amicably for both parties. _________________ Drinking: Rum and Coke.

I ordered mine last week with the 10% off offer along with a Ruby red and some cleaner to get over the £40 barrier. I had an email on Friday last to say it had been dispatched, it arrived on this Monday. The Ruby red went on yesterday, and the IPA today.
Looks like someone has slipped up on this one, I hope you get it sorted. _________________ Beat the minimun price per unit, brew your own. |

Not the way to review a kit. But maybe it's the only way to comment on a service. I had a similar problem, this particular beer was advertised as new in stock at least two weeks before it was in stock. I managed to find a local suppliers who informed me that he was the first to take stock of the St Peters IPA (2 weeks after advertised on site as new in stock). When a site prides itself on having things in stock as advertised it should be true to it's word. I recently spent a long time on the phone with said company to be told (for the majority of my order) that it was not in stock when advertised as IN STOCK. This is not the first time this has happened.
As soon as said beer has finished conditioning I will post a review on the beer quality only. _________________ Brewing:Muntons Porter, Old Dog Bob (ag), Cucumber and marrow, Bullace, cherry, strawberry, marigold wine and a mead.
Conditioning: THC, London Porter (ag) SN Pale Ale (ag), Adapted Nog, Cherry Brandy, Bullace Vodka. Balm, elderflower and rhubarb wine |

I ordered this IPA kit [ ordered and received in less than 72 hours] cos I like IPA and I liked the Ruby Red kit. Here's the beef though. It is marketed and sold as a 40 pint kit, but look closely at the pic and it states 32 pints. All the bumpff that comes with it, all says to make to 32 pints. Now, near 20 quid for a 32 pint all malt kit is a bit steep, in my opinion, so is this like the Muntons all malt IPA kit where you make to 40 or 32 pints depending on whether you want the Officers Tipple or the Troops whatever? The ABV is quoted as 5.5%. Surely though to keep within the trades description act this would need advertised as 40 pint kit that can make stronger, not a 32 pint kit that you can make weaker? I am bit confused. |

I agree that it should state the actual volume but 62p rather than 50p for a pint of decent sprottle can hardly be described as expensive.
And a score based on delivery for a beer doesnt help anyone |

What I think has happened here is, that St Peters released the kit. This site said that it was avaliable, but wanted to see what the demand was before they commited themselves to any stock. That is why some of you had to wait over two weeks for your order to be delivered. From a business point of view taking on stock that does not sell is bad business. But those of us who know how good the Ruby Red is, would know that this one would sell as well.
As for selling it as a 40 pint kit, shows lack of care. If you look at the other online retail outlets including St Peters own site, all say that it is 32 pint.
Mine went on yesterday, and will be bottled, it will be racked into another FV early next week, to drop bright before bottleling. _________________ Beat the minimun price per unit, brew your own. |

| I' ll make this brew up tonight and get it into the KK in a week or so's time. Just wanted confirmation from others brewers that 32 pints was correct and not a misprint. No reason to doubt that it won't be a quality ale like the Ruby Red. Will post a review when said activites are completed. |
