This is my second purchase. First brew was great. Clear, not hoppy and very refreshing.

Truly wonderful and delicious, my best yet. I left it nearly three months and it is as good a great pint in a great pub. A little bit more pricey and you have to be patient but my word, it its remarkable. The Woodforde's ones are excellent and I've given them 5/5, I'd like to give this one 5.5/5.

Absolutely top notch. This was drinkable after being in the pressure barrel for 2 weeks, and got better and better with age. Clears to a fantastic golden colour and produces a lovely creamy head. Reminded me of a slightly stronger and more hoppy version of Timothy Taylor's Landlord. Very much enjoyed by all who sampled it, highly recommended!

This was my first brew. What a result. I followed Muntons instructions. decanted into a second container after a few days and left to clear before bottling. I used spraymalt in most of the bottles and tried a few with ordinary caster sugar. Personally I think the caster sugar produced a better result. Like others, a long wait but well worth it. Excellent beer if a little hoppy. I'm now trying Smugglers ale. I'm told thats even better.

This ale is a real test of patience, it teased me for eight week's before it cleared...but my word it taste's great.Fantastic clarity(in the end) with a lovely golden lager appearance, enough bitter to retain it's ale title coupled with a smooth sweetness to give it's summer appeal.
These Muntons premium kit's are not for the impatient, but if like me you are prepared to wait that extra week or two then you will be rewarded with an ale that has true pub poured quality written all over it.
