I have gone for the Wherry brew for my second bash at home-brew. A lovely pint after 3 weeks in the keg. Very quaffable. Similar to Green King IPA. Will be making more

I have brewed Wherry three times now and every time was a great beer. Second brew I did not tell my mates i had brewed it!! Kept it all to myself!! Highly recommened.

This was my first attempt at home brewing but all went well, followed advice on this forum to extend both the fermentation and conditioning time and after 10 days ferment and 4 weeks in the barrell i had a superb ale, just as good as anything you can buy in the shops. Bad thing was my 40 pints were gone in under 2 weeks and i had nothing going. So i got a 2nd barrel, a 2nd Wherry drank that then moved onto Muntons smuglers & a Nelsons revenge.

Fantastic brew kit. I've been brewing for almost 2 years now, and will be drinking my 4th Wherry kit very shortly :)

Just tried my first bottle, and the taste is OK, but it's a bit fizzy and cloudy. I think I probably bottled it too soon. It was in the FV for 5 days, and the bottle for two weeks so far. Hope it will drop clear eventually, if I do it again I'll leave it in the FV for a few more days.
